What ClickUpBar stores on your Mac
Your ClickUp personal API token is stored in the macOS Keychain. App settings (lists, field preferences, bookmarks) are stored locally on your machine.
What leaves your Mac
ClickUpBar sends data to ClickUp's API only when you create or update tasks, upload attachments, or fetch workspace data. Task content you type is transmitted to ClickUp as part of normal API requests.
Screen, microphone, and camera
Screenshots, screen recordings, and optional facecam overlays are captured only when you explicitly start capture or recording. Audio and video are written to temporary files for preview and attachment upload; they are not sent anywhere except ClickUp when you attach them to a task.
Notifications
Due-date reminders are scheduled as local macOS notifications on your device. ClickUpBar does not operate a separate notification server.
Analytics and tracking
ClickUpBar does not include third-party analytics or advertising trackers. This website does not use analytics cookies.
Affiliation
ClickUpBar is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by ClickUp.
